• Imprisoned Ex-NJ Cop, Who Killed Husband, Will Get Bigger Pension Payout, Judge Rules (patch.com) — A former Tenafly police officer, now imprisoned for killing his husband, has won an appeal to receive a higher disability pension based on long-COVID complications from duty. A judge ruled his benefits should be upgraded to accidental disability, retroactively boosting earlier payments by about 16 percent, even though he is not currently collecting them while serving his sentence.
   

• Tenafly tri-op defeats West Windor-Plainsboro - Boys ice hockey recap (nj.com subscription) — Tenafly’s tri-op boys hockey team with Cresskill and Leonia exploded offensively, routing West Windsor-Plainsboro 12–4 at MacKay Ice Rink in Englewood. Troy Knause led the way with four goals and three assists, while several Tenafly teammates added multi-point nights in a dominant all-around performance.
