2 Killed In Route 37 Crash In Toms River
The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to New Jersey State Police. Reports say a motorcyclist and a pedestrian died.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were killed Sunday night in a crash on Route 37 in Toms River, according to reports.
The New Jersey State Police Fatal Crash Statistics database listed the two deaths as a driver and a pedestrian on Route 37. The crash happened shortly at 6:34 p.m., according to the database.
Alerts from the Ocean County Sheriff's Office on Sunday night said Route 37 was closed from about 6:45 p.m. Sunday until just before 11 p.m. in the area of Coolidge Avenue during the emergency response and the crash investigation.

A report by Lakewood Alerts said the motorcycle hit the pedestrian, citing police. RLS Media said both of the people who died had been on the motorcycle.
Local scanner reports said a motorcycle was involved.
