5 New Stores, Eateries Coming To Ocean County Mall

Bubble tea, trendy affordable jewelry, top-brand activewear and shoes, and a children's spa are among the offerings of the coming stores.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Five new stores and restaurants are coming to the Ocean County Mall in the coming months, mall officials have announced.

Co-Cool Smoothie and Bubble Tea and honeygrow will be bringing new flavors to the mall, and JD Sports and Lovisa offer activewear and jewelry, respectively. Also coming to the mall is Glitter and Glam, a child's spa that offers makeovers and theme parties.

Honeygrow offers made-to-order stir fry, salads and desserts where honey is the star in a fast casual format and boasts offering "wholesome, simple" foods. It is anticipating opening later this fall, officials said. It will be in the exterior Lifestyle Center.

Co-Cool Smoothie and Bubble Tea sells fresh and all-natural smoothies, milk shakes, bubble tea and fruit-flavored tea. The Ocean County Mall location will be the third; the company has locations in Freehold and Lawrenceville. It will be next to Auntie Anne’s near Macy’s.

JD Sports is a specialty activewear and shoes company selling brands including Dr. Martens, Jordans, Birkenstock and New Balance along with Nike and adidas. It previously was known as Finish Line. There are 150 locations in the United States, and the mall store would be the fourth in New Jersey. It will fill the space previously occupied by Charlotte Russe, mall officials said.

Lovisa is a jewelry store that offers "on-trend fashion jewelry at ready-to-wear prices.," the company says. It launched in 2010 and has 700 locations in 30 countries. The mall location, near Center Court, will be the first along the Jersey Shore.

Glitter and Glam is a child’s spa destination that provides themed parties and one-of-a-kind makeovers, according to its website, including mini-manicures, mini-pedicures, facials and more. It will located near the Main Entrance on Oak Avenue, and will be the company's fourth location, all in New Jersey.

There were no specific opening dates announced for any of the stores or restaurants.
