Beam Signing Brings RWJBarnabas Health Leaders Together in Toms River
New Toms River location will include Community Medical Center & Children's Specialized Hospital outpatient services and doctor offices.

Bill Arnold, President and CEO, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and President, Southern Region, RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH), joined leaders from Community Medical Center (CMC), Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH), CSH Foundation and RWJBH Medical Group to celebrate the last beam being put in place at the new Toms River West Hub construction. The group celebrated the occasion with a ceremonial beam signing.
This event marked an important milestone in the progress of this building’s completion and our organizations’ collective efforts to enhance access to care for New Jersey families. Opening in 2023, the hub will be home to outpatient services for both CMC and CSH, and medical practice offices for RWJBH Medical Group primary and specialty orthopedic providers.
