Bob's Discount Furniture Coming To Toms River
The furniture chain is filling an empty storefront in Toms River and has its grand opening scheduled.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — National furniture chain Bob's Discount Furniture is opening a new store in Toms River, filling an empty storefront on Hooper Avenue in the process.
The store, the 185th location of the chain, has scheduled its grand opening for noon on Friday, Aug. 30.
It is filling the site of the former Gelco Furniture at the corner of Oak and Hooper avenues, and will be the first Bob's Discount Furniture in Ocean County and one of 14 in New Jersey.

The grand opening ceremonies will include a ribbon cutting and the presentation of a $5,000 check to a local charity. There will be free snacks at the store's café and entertainment for the kids, officials said.
Founded in 1991 and based in Connecticut, Bob’s Discount Furniture believes "everyone deserves quality furniture," and the company says it strives to provide that.
