Body Found In Water In Toms River, Authorities Confirm
The man's death is under investigation, authorities said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found floating in the Toms River on Friday.
The man has not been identified. Toms River police referred questions about the death to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, which confirmed the investigation Monday afternoon.
The man, who was believed to be in his 40s, was found floating in the water behind Point O' Woods Drive on Friday evening, authorities said. That road runs along the eastern side of the Toms River Country Club.
