TOMS RIVER, NJ — Thousands of Easter eggs, including 2,000 that will be dropped by helicopter, will give kids plenty of fun surprises at the Easter Eggstravaganza.

The Easter egg hunt is set for Saturday at First Assembly of God Church, 800 Bay Ave. in Toms River. It is open to children enrolled in pre-K through fifth grade and is $5 per child, who must be registered and have a printed or digital ticket.

The event registration page includes a place to list how many family members will be attending, and organizers say all are welcome. The parking lot opens at 1:15 p.m. There is a rain date of Saturday, April 16.

Eggstravaganza will certainly be a memorable time for your family as a helicopter will be dropping more than 2,000 Easter eggs, and children will hunt for an additional 8,000 Easter eggs.

There will be a scavenger hunt around the property, an ice cream truck, games, crafts and inflatable rides.
