OCC COVID Testing To Close Early Due To Frigid Temps

The Ocean County Health Department announced the shortened testing hours as temperatures are expected to remain below freezing Tuesday.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The drive-thru testing for COVID-19 at Ocean County College will close early on Tuesday due to the frigid temperatures, the Ocean County Health Department announced.

The test site will close at 3 p.m. Tuesday, meaning the clinic will run from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. instead of closing at 7 p.m.

The clinic is slated to reopen at 9 a.m. Wednesday, the health department said.

Temperatures Tuesday morning remained below 20 degrees and were expected to plummet again in the afternoon and evening.
