NEW JERSEY — It’s nearly July 4, which means it’s time to break out the grills, charcoal, lemonade and sparklers for a festive Fourth of July barbecue.

From burgers to brisket to hot dogs, the Fourth of July is the perfect time to gather with friends and family to celebrate the birth of our country over delicious food and a refreshing drink.

But, like all gatherings, the host is bound to forget something. Whether you’re short a package of buns or forgot to grab your favorite deli salad, plenty of grocery stores are open in New Jersey for those last-minute items.

Here are the Fourth of July hours for grocery stores in New Jersey:

Acme Markets: Most stores are open on the Fourth of July, but some may have adjusted hours. Check with your local store to confirm.
