Failure to do so is a third-degree crime.

Williams was charged with failing to notify law enforcement of an address change by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office because he was supposed to notify Long Branch police, and additionally failed to report it to Island Heights police, Billhimer said.

Williams was arrested Feb. 28 and taken to the Ocean County Jail; he has since been released pending further court action, according to jail records.

Anyone with relevant information regarding this case — or other individuals violating Megan’s Law requirements — should contact Detective Alex Dasti of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-929-2027, ext. 3458, the prosecutor's office said.
