Patient Accuses Chiropractor Of Inappropriately Touching Her At Ocean County Office
The patient told authorities the sports chiropractor touched her in ways that had nothing to do with the treatment she was to receive.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — An Ocean County chiropractor has been charged with criminal sexual contact after a client accused him of touching her inappropriately during a treatment session, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.
James Royle, 68, of New Egypt, was charged on Thursday in an incident that happened Feb. 14 at his office in Jackson, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
The woman reported the incident on Feb. 26, saying she had been inappropriately touched during a chiropractic adjustment by Royle, who owns Royle Sports Chiropractic in Jackson. Jackson police and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit were notified, the prosecutor's office said.

Investigators learned the woman went to her scheduled appointment at Royle’s office and during treatment, Royle touched her in an inappropriate manner that was unrelated to the treatment, the prosecutor's office said.
Royle was charged on Thursday and surrendered himself to Jackson Township Police Headquarters, where he was charged on a summons pending future appearances in Ocean County Superior Court, the prosecutor's office said.
