Renovations Continue At Social Security Office In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Ongoing renovations at the Toms River office of the Social Security Administration mean Ocean County residents who need in-person assistance will have to go elsewhere for help.

A statement on the Social Security Administration website said the Toms River field office,at 190 St. Catherine Blvd., is closed to in-office traffic until further notice; the closure has been in place since Oct. 25, according to SSA.gov.

The office is undergoing renovations, the statement said. It can be reached by phone at 800-772-1213.

Ocean County residents who need in-person assistance can visit the field offices in Brick at 2620 Yorktowne Blvd., Eatontown at 7 Meridian Road, or in Egg Harbor Township at 1380 Doughty Road.
