The brains behind the New Jersey-based chain is founder Joey Cioffi of Springfield, who cut his teeth in the industry by washing dishes and filling catering orders at his family deli growing up, according to the Salad House website.
“Having the same passion for quality service as his father, Joey ultimately created The Salad House concept with one single purpose: to provide a fresh fast-casual experience that was both healthy and family friendly,” the website reads.
