ShopRites Holding Hiring Fairs In Toms River
If you're looking for work, both ShopRite stores are holding hiring fairs to fill positions.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you're looking for work, the ShopRites in Toms River are holding job fairs on Saturday, Jan. 20.
The hiring fairs are part of a companywide effort by Wakefern Food Corp. to attract workers and fill positions at stores across New Jersey.
The walk-up job fairs are taking place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the stores, on Fischer Boulevard at Bay Avenue, and on Route 37 at Route 166. There is a backup date of Jan. 27 if snow forces postponement.

Prospective employees can walk in and speak with a hiring representative for an immediate interview. Full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on location.
Wakefern officials said the available positions include general, perishable, front-end and stocking clerks, and offer flexible hours and a wide variety of cross-training "to provide employees with the knowledge, skills and tools to work as a team throughout the store."

"Training programs include a game-based app and are designed to provide a solid foundation so each individual can achieve their best and pursue career goals," the company said. Each job offers opportunities for career growth.
The supermarkets also offer associates entertainment and tuition discounts and scholarship opportunities.
