Builders General Supply Company traces its roots back to a Cranford silk mill.
Toms River is one of seven locations for Builders General Supply Company. TJ Shaheen, represents the fourth generation of the Shaheen family to be involved in the business. Shaheen is the guest this week on the Cranford Radio podcast and he talks about the history of the business from its start in 1931 in Cranford to what differentiates from the big box stores it now competes against.
