Toms River Library Hosts Kids Programs Friday

If you’re looking to get the kids out of the house on this Friday, Toms River’s Ocean County Library branch has two programs promising wholesome fun.

The “Three Hens and a Peacock” puppet show begins at 2:30 p.m. The Lester L. Laminack tale tells the story of a group of hens rattled by the appearance of a peacock on their farm.

Then, the Third Annual Game Show Challenge for children ages 8-12 kicks off at 6:30 p.m. All of the wacky games and challenges must be completed by contestants in less than one minute.
