Toms River Woman Dies In Parkway Ramp Crash In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A Toms River woman died Sunday when she was thrown from her car during a crash on the Garden State Parkway exit ramp in Lakewood, New Jersey State Police said.

Giselle Munoz Villar, 20, died as a result of the crash that was reported at 4:38 a.m. Sunday, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said Tuesday.

She was driving a Nissan Versa north on the entrance ramp to the Parkway at Exit 89 when her car ran off the road to the left and overturned, Lebron said.

She was thrown from the car and sustained fatal injuries, he said.
