Woman Hits 2 Men With Vehicle In Toms River Parking Lot, Takes Off, Prosecutor Says
One of the men was critically injured; the woman was arrested, authorities said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Lacey Township woman has been charged in a hit-and-run that injured two men in an apartment complex parking lot in Toms River on Saturday, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.
Cagla L. Nemutlu, 22, was charged with knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash resulting in serious bodily injury in the incident, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Police were called to Winteringham Village about 11:25 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian, and found a 60-year-old man with serious injuries, authorities said.

The man was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune and was listed as critical but stable, authorities said.
Investigators learned Nemutlu was exiting a parking space at the complex when she hit two men then took off at a high rate of speed without stopping or attempting to help the victims, authorities said.

The second man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, authorities said.
Officers found Nemutlu within the Winteringham Village complex and she was arrested, authorities said. She is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit-Vehicular Homicide Squad, Toms River Police Department Detective Bureau, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit investigated.
