3 Bricks Of Heroin Found In Kinnelon Traffic Stop: Police

Two people were arrested, police said.

KINNELON, NJ — Two people were arrested after police say they found three bricks of heroin during a Kinnelon traffic stop, Morris County Park police said.

The arrest happened on Aug. 24, when police pulled a car over on Route 23 for equipment issues. Police say a search of the car turned up about 130 bags, or three bricks, of heroin.

Phillip A. Fabiano, age 39, of Wantage Township, and Angela M. Pileggi, age 29, of Newton, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fabiano was released with an upcoming court date. Pileggi had warrants for her arrest from Wantage, Sussex, and Stillwater Municipal Courts, police said; she was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility for a first appearance.
