Butler Fundraiser a Sweet Success for Child

By 5 p.m. Wednesday, a line of people were waiting at to get a sweet treat and help support Brady Sinopoli, a four-year-old resident who suffers from epilepsy.

A Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rita's donated 20 percent of proceeds during that time to the Sinopoli family to go toward the purchase of a seizure dog for Brady and attendees also donated money in a bucket.

The total amount of money raised was not immediately available, but Shelly DePascale, who helped organize the event, noted that several $100 bills were donated in the bucket.
