Il Positano Shut Down By State for Unpaid Taxes
Kinnelon pizzeria and Italian restaurant closed on Jan. 22.

Il Positano, an Italian eatery and pizzeria in the Meadtown Shopping Center in Kinnelon, was seized and shut down by the state last month because the owners allegedly did not pay taxes.
The business has been closed since Jan. 22, according to Suburban Trends. A bright orange sign explaining the seizure is posted on the door. A total of $67,131, based on three separate judgments from the past three years, is owed to the New Jersey Department of Taxation by the owners of the business.
The owners would have to pay the taxes in full or negotiate a payment plan with the state before reopening Il Positano, Suburban Trends reported.
