Kinnelon Organizes Summer Outdoor Movie Extravaganza
This summer, the Kinnelon Police and Recreation Departments are teaming up to host a summer outdoor movie extravaganza.
KINNELON, NJ – Although the COVID-19 pandemic has forced towns across the United States to cancel public events this summer, many places are adapting to state-wide safety restrictions by planning outdoor, socially-distanced activities.
In Kinnelon, the local police and recreation departments have joined together to host a summer outdoor movie extravaganza. For two nights this summer – July 14 and August 12 – residents are invited to participate in a family movie night at the Kinnelon Municipal Football Field.
According to a Kinnelon Borough press release, Abominable will play at 8:30 pm on July 14, while The Greatest Showman will be displayed at 8 pm on August 12. On both nights, doors will open at 7:30 pm so that participants have time to claim their socially distanced viewing spaces.
