Morris County Woman Abused, Assaulted Special Ed Students: Prosecutor
Teacher was released on bail.

ELMWOOD PARK – A Butler woman who works as a special education teacher in Elmwood Park has been arrested and charged with various child abuse offenses after investigators say she assaulted students.
On Thursday, Dec. 10, detectives were notified by a school administrator at Sixteenth Avenue Elementary School of reported allegations of child abuse by a special education teacher, Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said.
A joint investigation between local and county authorities was launched, and Ashley Frabizzio, 30, of Butler, a special education teacher at the school was arrested Dec. 12 and subsequently charged with two counts of child abuse and two counts of simple assault, Molinelli said.

Bail was set at $2,500 with a 10-percent option. Frabizzio was released on bail but is not to have contact with the alleged victims or with the school and its personnel.
