Paterson Shooting Hospitalizes Bloomingdale Man

The man was shot in his car, and the investigation remains ongoing.

PATERSON, NJ — A Bloomingdale man was hospitalized after getting shot early Friday morning in Paterson, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.

Police received notice at about 3:30 a.m. Friday that the man arrived at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

Based on the initial investigation, authorities determined that the victim was parked in his vehicle around 21st and Madison Avenues. Then someone in a passing car began shooting toward his vehicle, according to the prosecutor's office.
