Cedar Grove Man Discovers Strangers on His Property

A Cedar Grove resident came home to find two strangers in his back yard last Tuesday, police officials said.

The West Bradford Avenue homeowner told police he pulled into his driveway around 10:30 a.m. and saw two men in his yard. The two ran into the woods by the Essex County Department of Public Works, he said.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspects. Surrounding homes were also checked and there were no signs of burglary.

The suspects were described as black males, one short and one tall, both wearing black skull caps.
