Hurry Up! Deadline for Voter Registration is Tuesday

Essex County Clerk Christopher J. Durkin reminds residents that the deadline to register to vote in this fall's election is Tuesday.

It's a big election year, with President Barack Obama running for his second term against former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

There are also Congressional races, statewide ballot questions and the issue of full-day kindergarten in Verona.

But it's not going to do residents any good if they aren't registered to vote.
