Discount Card Program for Junior Woman's Club Underway
Group seeking local merchants to participate in discount program.
The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona is looking for local merchants to participate in its discount card program for 2012.
The group is looking primarily for restaurants, but will consider other businesses as well. There is no cost to the merchant to participate and the coupon promotion and logo will appear on each card, along with other local merchants.
The discount card, the size of a credit card, is customized for residents of Verona and the surrounding towns and will offer discounts on products and services to cardholders. Last year, more than 200 discount cards were sold.
The cards, which are valid from June 1 to Nov. 30, can be used repeatedly by the buyer during that time.
As a participating merchant, the business will be featured on the
card itself, in newspaper and website advertisements for the card, on
the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona’s website and on the club’s
Facebook page.
In addition to helping businesses, sales of the card will help the
Junior Woman’s Club of Verona raise the funds needed to support a
variety of local, national and international humanitarian
organizations.
In order to get the cards printed on time, interested parties should
contact the club by Monday, May 1.
