Fundraiser Planned for Family of Late Patrick J. McNally

Verona resident was Essex County Clerk.

A fundraiser for the family of the late Patrick J. McNally of Verona will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 at the Macedonian Orthodox Center.

McNally died in September 2011, leaving behind a wife, Anne, and four children — Stephanie, Patrick Jr., Joseph and Erin.

Proceeds from the four-hour event will be used to offset educational expenses and needs of his four children.

The evening’s entertainment Irish entertainment will be provided by Verona resident Eammon Ryan, Celtic Cross and the DeNogla School of Irish Step-Dancing. Food and refreshments will be served. The suggested donation is $35.

McNally, a member of the Irvington Board of Education at the age of 20, served as a member of the Irvington Township Council as well as the council president.

In 1995, he was elected to his first of two 5-year terms as Essex County clerk.

The Macedonian Orthodox Center is located at 1050 Pompton Ave. in Cedar Grove.
