Howl-O-Ween at Essex County’s Turtle Back Zoo

Children are encouraged to wear their costumes to the Zoo for Howl-O-Ween. There will be 30 stations where trick or treaters can collect candy, a not-so-scary train ride and free refreshments. Turtle Back Zoo will be closed on Oct. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m., to prepare for the event. Admission to Howl-O-Ween is $3 for Zoological Society of New Jersey members and $5 for non-members.
