Porsche Stolen at Gunpoint From Verona Banquet Hall

Police said two men approached employee and demanded keys.

A luxury car was stolen at gunpoint from a banquet hall in Verona Saturday night, police said.

A silver Acura occupied by three men entered the parking lot of the Richfield Regency on Bloomfield Avenue around 7:34 p.m., according to police. Two men got out of the car with a gun and approached a valet parking employee demanding keys to a Porsche parked in the lot, police said.

The car thieves grabbed several keys from the valet booth and got back in the Acura. Employees of the Richfield later found the Porsche missing.

The stolen car was found the following morning in Newark by city police.
