Pushcart Players Host a "Royal Celebration" June 3
Bidding online for silent auction begins May 13; performances, silent auction on day of event.

Pushcart Players will celebrate 38 years of bringing theatre to young audiences throughout New Jersey and beyond with “A Royal Celebration,” a fundraising event to be held on Sunday, June 3 at the Montclair Art Museum from 2-5 p.m.
The afternoon will feature a performance of “Happily Ever After… A Cinderella Tale,” followed by a Tea Party at the Palace, complete with delectable food and drink, behind-the-scenes tours, photos with a favorite character from the show and the opportunity to tour the museum.
In addition, Pushcart Players will also host a silent auction during the afternoon tea. Attendees can bid online prior to the event, beginning May 13. Online bidding will close on Saturday, June 2.
Items up for auction includes: House seats to “hard to get” theatre productions, vacation packages, signed memorabilia, unique art, stunning jewelry items, personalized cooking classes, dress-up trunk for girls, dress up trunk for boys, Tea Sets fit for Royalty and much, much more.
“The economic climate in recent years has made it increasingly difficult to sustain our mission of bringing the arts to young people in their schools,” said Ruth Fost, Executive/Artistic Director of Pushcart Players. “We are looking forward to this very special fundraising event for the company, which in turn will benefit thousands of young viewers throughout the state.”
