As Hurricane Sandy moves toward our area, the district continues to carefully monitor all weather related information. In the interest of safety, the Cedar Grove Public Schools will be closed on Monday, October 29th and Tuesday October 30th  and there are no after school or evening activities on either day.

Due to the magnitude of the storm, it is possible that schools may be closed on Wednesday as well. We will send another alert  during the day on Tuesday to address this. However, due to the possibility of power outages that school closings will be posted on the district website and channel 76, sent out via SwiftReach Notification System, the town Nixtel Notification system, recorded on the district phone main phone line, on the local news channels like NEWS 12 New Jersey – TV STATION – www.News12.com, and WABC-TV-Channel 7 – www.7online.com.
