Yankee Camp Offers Little Leaguers Big League Experience

Little sluggers got a Major League experience last week when the 2013 New York Yankees Youth Baseball Camp stopped in Verona.

Campers ages 5 to 13 spent the week at Verona High School getting top-notch baseball instruction from Yankees-trained coaches.

A highlight of the week was visiting the Bronx for an exclusive tour of Yankee Stadium, a glimpse at the World Series trophy and a meet and greet with a current player.
 
The campers also got to wear and keep a pint-sized Yankee uniform.

The Yankees Youth Baseball Camp heads to Paramus for July 8-12 where there's a waiting list. Spaces are still available in Parsippany, for July 15-19.
