• Former NYPD officer sentenced to 10 years for road rage shooting in New Jersey (abc7ny.com) — A former NYPD officer has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison after a road-rage shooting in Voorhees left a man permanently disabled and caused a multi-car crash at Cooper Road and Route 73. Voorhees-area residents may remember the incident, which also seriously injured a local ICU nurse; the victim’s family has since relocated for his long-term care and is pursuing civil action.
