64-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Struck By SUV Crossing Wall Road
The man was crossing Route 35 near Wall Crunch Road when he was hit, police said.
WALL, NJ — A 64-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Nov. 9, Wall Police said.
Michael Losacano, of Niantic, Connecticut, was crossing Route 35 near Wall Crunch Road when police said he was hit by a Ford Explorer around 7 p.m.
Following the crash, Losacano was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 18, according to police.

Investigation into the incident revealed that the driver of the Ford Explorer was a 72-year-old man from Farmingdale. The man was traveling southbound on Route 35 when his car struck Losacano, police said.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Wall Township Police Department, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
