WALL, NJ — A brush fire near Squankum Allenwood Road is currently "under control," according to Wall Police.Police first reported news of the fire a little after 12 p.m. on Wednesday. The fire broke out in the area of Squankum Allenwood Road between Hospital Road and Metedeconk Road, according to authorities. Wall Police, Wall Emergency Services, the Wall fire districts and NJ State Forest Fire Services all responded to the scene, officials said. A detour has been put in place while the fire is being extinguished, and police said emergency services will remain in the area to ensure the fire is out.
