Four-Car Crash In Wall Prompts Charges Against Pa. Woman

Three people had non-life-threatening injuries in a car crash in Wall Wednesday at Routes 138 and 18. Pennsylvania woman faces charges.

WALL, NJ — A Pennsylvania woman has been charged in connection with a four-car accident at Routes 138 and 18 on Wednesday, May 31, police said.

At 4:46 p.m. May 31, Wall Police, Wall EMS, and Belmar EMS responded to the motor vehicle crash.

Three people had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, for evaluation, according to police.

Erin Tighe-Vonzuben, 51, Warrington, Pa., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and two counts of assault by auto, a third-degree crime, police said.

The charges were placed on a summons, and Tighe-Vonzuben was released.
