Halloween Curfew Announced in Wall

Wall police remind residents about curfews for juveniles from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.

WALL, NJ — The Wall Township Police Department is reminding residents about the upcoming Halloween curfew.

According to township law, no juvenile can be on any public street or in any public place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Oct. 29, 30, 31 and Nov. 1, unless accompanied by the juvenile's parents or guardian, police said.

Other exceptions include if the juvenile is engaged in:

  • traveling to or from a business occupation
  • an errand involving a medical emergency
  • attendance at an extracurricular school activity
  • attendance of an activity sponsored by a religious or community based organization

It is unlawful for any parent or guardian to allow an unaccompanied juvenile to be on any public street or in any public place during those hours, police said.
