Letter to the Editor: Wall Community Grateful for Outpouring of Support

WHIP assisting David Ivins in his 'time of need'

To the Editor:

The entire Wall/Belmar area was shocked to learn that , , in Wall Township two weeks ago. That event led to an unbelievable response from the community.

Mayor Conte and the Township Committee would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of generosity and support for Mr. Ivins during this difficult time. The entire community has been united in their concern over Mr. Ivins and are proud to be working with Wall Helps Its People to get him back on the right path.

whose mission is to help Wall Township residents in need of assistance. Due to the fact that this unfortunate incident happened in Wall Township, WHIP has taken on the role of liaison between Mr. Ivins and the public, who have reached out to assist him in his time of need. All monies collected from people who have made donations on Mr. Ivins' behalf will be used to provide food, shelter, medical assistance and any other life necessities that should arise. WHIP is working in conjunction with the Wall Township Police Department as well as the Township of Wall.
