Target Grand Opening Announced In Wall Township
The 91,000-square-foot facility will open on Route 35, according to the company's website.

WALL, NJ — Target has been planning to open a location in Wall Township for several years, and the wait is almost over. On May 15, 2022, the new location will open.
The 91,000-square-foot facility will replace the long-running Kmart, which closed in December 2019. It will be located at 1835 State Route 35 in Wall.

“We're hiring,” said Daryl Hallam, Store Director. “We're looking for individuals who want to be a part of a guest-focused team that brings their passion and pride to serve the Wall Township community.”

More specific details, such as how the shopping experience will be tailored to serve local guests, will be released as the grand opening date approaches.
Target's final site plan for the remodeled store in December 2021 was approved by the Wall Planning Board. The plans called for new signage, an enclosure for an existing loading dock, and new drive-up parking stalls in the building's rear, according to planning board documents.
