Wall Diner Changing Owners After 27 Years
The Roadside Diner will continue under new ownership following the current owners' last day on March 31.

WALL, NJ — The iconic Roadside Diner (known for its green dinosaur statue and appearance in a Bruce Springsteen music video) will be going under new ownership this spring, the diner announced in an online statement.
Located just off Route 33 in Wall, the diner has been serving the New Jersey community for 27 years.
On Monday, March 31, the restaurant owners said it will be their last day with the diner before the location switches to new ownership.

“Chef/Owner Dimitri Gerakaris & his family & staff would like to thank our loyal customers for 27 great years!” the diner posted in an online statement. “The Roadside Diner will be under new ownership, with our last day being March 31st, 2025. Thank you for sharing your countless special diner moments with us!”
In a follow-up post on Friday, the diner clarified that the restaurant will still be continuing, just with new owners.

After serving the local community for over two decades, the Roadside Diner has cemented itself as a piece of New Jersey history.
In February, it was included in best local things’ roundup of “New Jersey Diners That Will Hit the Spot,” and in December, it earned the #12 spot on NJ.com’s list of “New Jersey’s 41 greatest diners, ranked, for 2024.”
For fans of New Jersey music fans, you can even spot the diner in Bruce Springsteen’s music video for “Girls In Their Summer Clothes.”
