Wall Police Start Kids On Healthy Habits In New Fitness Program

A fitness program for youth is offered for the first time this summer by the Wall Police Department.

WALL, NJ — The first Wall Police Youth Fitness Program is getting underway soon.

Hosted by the Wall Police Department, each week young participants will get insight into the different areas of fitness, ranging from nutrition to post workout/recovery.

The topic of the day will be taught by local gyms, health centers and nutritionists.

Following the presentation, kids get to join in short runs and some gentle calisthenics with Wall police officers.

Look for advice from experts like Neff's Nutrition and Atlantic Physical Therapy; Landmark Athletic & Fitness; AMPD Fitness; Recovery Zone and more.

The program is for incoming sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students. It runs July 6 to Aug. 3 on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at police headquarters, 2700 Allaire Road.
