DisABILITY Services Expo To Be Held In Somerset County
Visitors will learn about the resources available to Somerset County residents with disabilities and their caregivers.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services is hosting a DisABILITY Services Expo titled “Opening Doors and Dialogue to Welcome All Countywide.” The expo will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Wellness Center at Bridgewater, located at 876 E. Main Street and is open to all Somerset County residents.

This FREE expo will provide an opportunity for individuals with disabilities, their caregivers, family members and friends to meet representatives from more than 30 county, state, local agencies and business. Visitors will learn about the resources available to Somerset County residents with disabilities and their caregivers. Although the expo primarily offers disability-related information, it will be valuable for anyone who would like to learn more about the many services the county offers to its residents.
During the expo, Jen Butzgy from NORWESCAP will be offering a presentation highlighting utility assistance programs, housing support, and career and life transition support. Free Transportation
Free shuttle service will be available through the Somerset County Transportation Division’s paratransit service. Residents need to register by Friday, Oct. 7. Parking will be available at the TD Bank Ballpark.
