How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?
In providing "Smile Bags" to hospitalized children and their families, the Simple Gifts Project ensures that members of our community never face such frightening times alone.
What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?
Since their inception, Simple Gifts Project has provided over 2,000 Smile Bags in partnership with area hospitals. They prepare the bags, which contain messages of hope, toys, and other fun activities, by hosting school students and sharing lessons of kindness and giving. They teach kids to care about other kids!
If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?
THANK YOU for spreading smiles throughout our community--especially where and when they are most needed!
