Hillcrest Road Reopens Following Road Work In Watchung
The closure was only impacting the northbound side of the roadway on Thursday, said Watchung Police.
WATCHUNG, NJ — Hillcrest Road has now reopened after being closed to northbound traffic on Thursday due to road work.
The closure was from Valley Road to Old Somerset Road. The closure began around 11:15 a.m., said Watchung Police Det. Lt. Scott Anderle.
Southbound traffic from Interstate 78 is not impacted, said Anderle.

Only local traffic was allowed during the road work.
Other drivers going northbound were asked to plan an alternate route.
