Signage Is Up, Opening Update For Warren's Modern Portuguese-Style BBQ Restaurant

Signage went up at the township's newest restaurant located off Mountain Boulevard next to China City II.

WARREN, NJ — Signage is now up at Brasa, the new modern Portuguese-style BBQ restaurant, coming to Warren Township and an opening update has been announced.

Signage went up earlier in November its location off Mountain Boulevard next to China City II.

The plan is to open this summer was pushed back due to COVID causing construction permitting delays.

Rob Olsen, one of the owners of Brasa, said the restaurant is now looking to open in January.

The restaurant will be a modern version of a Portuguese-style BBQ, incorporating Spanish and Brazilian favorites as well, but specializing in grilled chicken, ribs, steaks and seafood.

Brasa will offer takeout, delivery and catering and feature a more upscale dining room during dinner hours.
