Scouts Dress Up Municipal Complex
With help from area nurseries, Daisy and Brownie Scouts add some color to municipal grounds.

Submitted by Christine Rau
First-graders in Girl Scout Daisy Troop 65145 and third-grade Brownies in Troop 65670, from Woodland and Central Schools, recently completed a landscaping project at the municipal complex.
The Scouts finished the work on June 10, after postponing an earlier workday because of poor weather.

"Home Depot played a big part in getting us donations and helping with the labor," Rau said, adding donations were also received from Hopewell Nursery, which donated boxwoods; Garden State Growers, which provided the myrtle ground cover; and Woods Nursery, which provided the impatiens. Home Depot donated lawn bags and soil.
