Bomb Threat Scrawled On School Bathroom Wall In Warren Township: Police

Warren Township Police are continuing to investigate the incident from Friday and ask the public to reach out with any information.

WARREN, NJ — A bomb threat at Warren Middle School remains under investigation, said police on Monday.

A bomb threat was found inside a school bathroom on Friday at around 2:30 p.m.

School administrators immediately implemented the district’s safety protocols while officers
from the Warren Township Police Department, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, and Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office did an extensive search of the school and the surrounding areas, said Warren Police Chief Robert Ferreiro.

It was determined there was no credible threat to the public, and the students were later dismissed without incident.

"The safety of students, staff, and the Warren Township Community remains our top priority. This incident is currently under investigation by the Warren Township Police," said Ferreiro.
