Palmer, Zaborowski Retain Freeholder Seats

Both win by more than 10,000 votes.

Republican incumbent candidates Peter Palmer (Bernardsville) and Robert Zaborowski (Franklin) retained their seats on the Somerset Board of Chosen Freeholders in Tuesday's election.

Both candidates defeated their competitors by more than 10,000 votes, according to unofficial results from the Somerset County Clerk's Office.

Palmer received 31,138 votes, while Zaborowski received 30,693. Democratic challengers Iorwuese "Wes" Ifan (Manville) and Christian Mastondrea (Hillsborough) each received around 20,500 votes. Below are the unofficial totals.
