New Year, New You: Warren Local Launches Life Coaching Business To Help Achieve Goals

WARREN, NJ — For 26 years, Dora Santos of Warren Township has helped to shape the minds of her students. Now she is taking on a new venture to help shape the lives of others with her new life coaching business.

Dora Santos Life Coaching opened at the end of 2022 at 776 Mountain Blvd. in Watchung. Santos opened her business to follow her passion for helping teens and adults achieve their goals and aspirations.

"I am looking at the core of who you are," said Santos, who is also a Middle School teacher in Watchung. "I am helping you to work from the inside out, help to work on yourself."

Santos said she always found she had a lot of interest in personal growth and working on herself. Over the pandemic, she found herself with extra time and enrolled in a professional life coaching course.

She then began coaching and working with some friends who encouraged her to pursue her passion and open a business. That's when she came across the office space in Watchung.

"I really want to empower people to connect with who they are and what their passions are," said Santos. "Shifting their mindset in a way that helps them attain authenticity and goals. So they can live an intentional balance and conscious life."

Santos offers a free meeting where someone can share what their goals are and then she will set up how frequently they will want to meet in person or virtually to help achieve it.

Professionals struggling with a career change or a decision at work, parents, and middle-aged women looking for a transition, are some of the people Santos has helped.

"I want to help people find who they are and live an authentic happy life," said Santos. "I feel really passionate about this."
